Location: Gammies Groundcare Ltd, Station Yard, Carseview Road, Forfar, Angus, DD8 3BT

Start date: Immediate Start Available

Pay: £28,000 + Uncapped Commission

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are currently recruiting a salesperson to join our existing sales team at our depot in Forfar. This role would consist of the sale, demonstration, and operation of a variety of Groundcare, ATV, compact tractor, and construction equipment covering the Aberdeenshire and Angus area.

Ideal for someone with mechanical experience or industry knowledge who is looking to make their way into sales. This is a customer-facing role that consists of a lot of communication with both existing and new customers, liaising with internal departments, answering customer inquiries, and ensuring records are kept up to date.

Your day-to-day would consist of covering sales both within our showroom as well as going on-site to customers to demonstrate and sell equipment, ensuring consistent communication with customers, providing updates, and answering queries.

We also attend a variety of shows and events throughout the year which would require our sales team to be in attendance.

The Person

Essential experience/skilled

• Full driving license essential (with trailer preferred)
• Experience or knowledge of the industry (this can be from a mechanical background, Groundskeeping, or any other roles that offer experience or knowledge of the equipment)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Good Practical skills
• Customer-focused with an outgoing personality
• Located in the Angus area.

Preferred:

• Previous mechanical knowledge/experience
• Sales experience
• Strong local connections
